Bottom Line
People complain the diet pushes too much red meat and cheese. Although Atkins was a big deal back in the day, it’s just not in the same league with today’s top diets like Nutrisystem or Medifast Diet.

I just started the Atkins diet again. i weigh in at 283lbs. at this moment.Aaauuugggghhhh!!! i was at 295lbs. one week ago!! I need this to work so bad. I am 38 years old and my body hurts! I intend on growing old and not hurting like this constantly. I have been overweight my whole life I bullimiced my way to 127lbs. at 19yrs. impressive huh? I started busting blood vessels in my face so I had to quit. Damn! Then I exercised and weight watched myself to a rather quick 174lbs. I lost I gained alot of failure involved with losing such a visual battle. I with the help of never ending exercise and very expensive Dr. bills and pills maintaned my weight at 185lbs. for two,three years. Food became my main focus my priority my drug. I have tried it all and am very tired of overall failing. I am going to change my lifestyle to suit this diet. i am tired of being hungry and fat. I need help with this diet so I don,t set myself up for yet another failure. I need to not be hungry,tired, and hurt. If you have any helpful tips to help me in the first stage of the Atkins diet I would appreciate any help I can get. I NEED HELP THIS IS SOMETHING THAT I HAVE NEVER ADMITTED EVEN TO MYSELF!
