Story by: Allison I was tired. Tired of being overweight. Tired of having no energy. Tired of wearing baggy, dull clothing. And tired of being tired. I had really tried to lose weight, or so I thought. I tried diet program, starving myself, and every fad and diet around. I finally got serious and did the most simple and obvious thing available....Diet and Exercise!I didn't get fat until college. I was a high school cheerleader and loved fashion! I was voted "Best Dressed" my senior year of high school. I think not being able to wear the clothing I liked is what motivated me the most. I'd see something really cute in the mall, but no way would I wear that, I just didn't have the body for it anymore. And we're talking WAY before I had kids. It wasn't until well after I had my first child that I started on this program, and I saw results almost immediately. I saw my waist size shrink down from a size 12/14 to a 6/8! I was sooo excited! Everyone I knew from my co-workers to acquaintances commented on how good I looked! The attention was nice, but I did it for myself. Now, I can wear my favorite style of clothing and swimwear that I never would have even considered before. Finally, I just said FORGET IT! Forget the fad diets. Forget the program. Forget the "Lose Weight Fast" scams! FORGET IT ALL! I made my own program. I figured if I ate right, watched my fat and calorie intake, and exercised regularly, I'd HAVE to lose weight, right? Well, I DID! I got back down to my high school size, but I was also much more toned. As soon as it started coming off, many of my friends and co-workers were asking me how I was doing it. They were all trying the same things I was, but those methods weren't working. I explained my whole diet and exercise regimen to them, and the ones that stuck with it lost weight too! This was all after I had my first child. As you can see by my before/after pictures, I was fat before I got pregnant. After I had my first child, I was back to my normal weight and size without doing much of anything. The real test was after I had my second child. During my whole pregnancy as I gained weight and couldn't exercise or diet much due to Doctor's orders, I was paranoid that I would get fat again and not be able to get it off. After my second baby was born, I still couldn't diet the way I did before since I was breast feeding. But, after he was weaned, I went right back on my program, and quickly got back down to the same size and weight I was before I got pregnant. When I started my program, I mainly wanted to lose weight and fit into cool clothes. The plus side was that I got toned too! My arms, shoulders, back, and legs actually have muscle definition now, and I couldn't be happier. I did all this with diet and exercise. I've NEVER had ANY KIND OF PLASTIC OR COSMETIC SURGERY!
