As a teenager, I know firsthand how embarrassing it is when you walk around feelingtired, worn out, and FAT. In January, I decided to began dieting to change my lifeand feel better about myself. I excercised and ate right everyday of the week. Mynormal day usually consists of a bowl of Smart Start cereal for breakfast, grilledchicken with steamed broccolli for lunch, and a turkey sandwich with vegetables fordinner. Of course, my day changes drastically so I obviously don't eat thateveryday. But the minimum amount of vegetable/fruit servings a day is 5! Sometimes Ieat 10 servings of fruits and veggies a day. Along with dieting, I excerise a lot! Igo to the gym and do 20 minutes of cycling, run 2 miles, do triceps, do about 120weighted crunches, and about 40 leg curls. After 5 months, I had gone from a 235pound 16 year old to a 175 pound 16 year old. I feel so much better about myself!!After losing 60 pounds, I realize that maintaining my weight and staying healthy will prolong my life. I hope my story inspires you. Thanks!
