I agree with everyone on here! I did almost the same things on Jenny Craig. I spent way to much money.

The counselors were horrible, not trained in and out and all they wanted to do was sell you things. I don't know anyone who has really stuck to this and lost any weight.

I joined for $20.00 for 20 weeks or 20 pounds first. Not including the food. Well needless to say I didn't lose anything but 7 pounds for the whole 20 weeks. I was sticking to plan almost 85% of the time. Which I think is pretty good.

I spent roughly $100 to $150 a week on food. For just me !!! THat is what got me. And if you want to use a coupon that you get, they get nasty!

So, now I do NUTRISYSTEM! I LOVE IT! Have lost 25 pounds in a month!

I tried Jenny Craig and it was expensive and they false advertise.

The counselors are not helpful, they rush you because they only have 15 min per client, plus, they try to sell you all kind of other products. I thought it was going to be one on one, being able to ask questions and get help by being able to discuss problems and needs. But that wasn't the case, I was in and out without getting any satisfaction.

I would never recommend Jenny Criag.

I wish I had read Reviews before joining. Twenty years ago, the program had worked very well for me and I was eager to restart. I lasted one week.

1. Diabetic menu. I had informed them I was diabetic. No problem they said. Do not let them tell you they have a menu for diabetics! Their idea of a diabetic menu is to tell you, after the fact, that you can change items on the regular menu, but you won't know what to change until you purchase the expensive item and have the label to check what it is made up of.

2. Counselors. Admitted they have no training regarding the actual food intakes and diets. They are really only sales people. Sold me things I neither wanted nor needed with no up-front admittance the purchase was not mandatory. The Counselor actually told me that in addition to the menu foods, "you also get these bags and books".

Silly me, I thought they were part of the fee I had already paid, but no, they were an additional $68. I didn't want or need manuals at $20 or a lot of other way-overpriced ancilliary items.

3. Food. Generally, not too bad but boy, is it expensive! My one week cost $166.33. Had I continued, the monthly cost would have been over $600. I agree with other Reviews - Jenny Craig's bottom line profit is from overly expensive foods and their actual business is the grocery business.

Jenny - you're not what you were twenty years ago.
