I tried jenny Craig 15 years ago and was successful in losing 25 lbs. Back then, my counselor was TRULY engaged and provided guidance and motivation.

I went back 6 months ago and found that the food is good at first, but all tastes the same after a few weeks. The counselors (I tried all that were available at my center) use a canned questionaire that leaves me feeling like I'm paying for an over-priced cashier. There was no motivational benefits from seeing any of them. They seem to be more interested in placing your order. The counseling they provide is usless, same 4 questions each week. If you are stuggling, they tell you to read pg XX.

There is no price sheet available, so you cannot be an informed shopper. THE FOOD IS EXPENSIVE!

I must agree with all the comments. Jenny Craig let me go today because I was not buying enough of their food.

They said I was not following their program. I paid $300 to join and bought some food. They want me to buy 21 meals a week from them. I am losing weight and was faithfully going. I had a great counselor but today the manager took over and told me I could not come back due to not buying the food. And I mean she was nasty.

Their bottom line is making a profit, not helping anyone lose weight. Stay far away from Jenny Craig.

I joined Jenny Craig when they were running the 20 pounds for $20 offer.

I have to say that I agree with other opinions - the food was too rich. It seems that everything is covered with cheese, which I do not normally eat. The cost is ridiculous.
